Ecua-Andino Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply only to purchases made on the official Ecua-Andino Hats website, www.ecua-andino.com, and paid through our legal payment methods (Paypal, Visa, Mastercard).
If you purchase or have purchased any of our Ecua-Andino products through another distribution channel (international distributors, stores, among others) and experience any inconvenience, please refer to their return policies.
If you wish to order more than ten hats, we recommend contacting our export department at: info@ecua-andino.com.

Shipping and Product Delivery
As long as the product is in stock on our website, delivery will be made within a maximum of 30 business days depending on the final destination. This timeline is justified by the nature of the hats, as they are 100% handmade, produced and shipped FOB from Ecuador, South America.
Local taxes and import duties are the customer’s responsibility. Shipping costs are USD 40 for every 4 hats, with no variation.
However, the delivery period may be extended by two additional weeks in the case of the following orders:

  • Customized products (Hand-painted Art/Pet Collection)
  • Don Belisario Hats (Premium Line)

FeDEX Shipping
Approximate delivery time: two weeks.
Any additional delay may occur due to internal or local logistics.

Product Exchanges
Free returns may only be requested within 10 days after the customer has received the product, under the following conditions:

  • The product was delivered from our workshop in poor condition (damaged).
  • The product differs from what was specified in your online order.
  • The product is a different size than the one indicated in your online order.

Special Clause
If the customer selected the wrong size or product when placing the online order, they may request an exchange, but shipping costs will be covered by the customer and under their own responsibility.

Refunds
Refunds are only applicable if the product you ordered is no longer in stock.

Exchange Conditions

  • To be eligible for an exchange, the item must be returned unused, undamaged, and with its original tags.
  • The product must be properly protected during return shipping; otherwise, the customer may not qualify for an exchange.
  • Ecua-Andino will cover return shipping costs only if the product is damaged or incorrect (wrong size or product).
  • The estimated return time is 3 to 4 weeks.

Events Beyond Our Control
Additional delays in product delivery may occur due to:

  • Customs retention and inspections.

  • The customer not being available at the delivery address at the time of delivery.

  • Incorrect or incomplete personal information provided by the customer during purchase.

  • Delays caused by the shipping company failing to meet the scheduled delivery date.
    We will nevertheless assist you with the best service possible.
